- If American Institutions Part A: US History requirement has been satisfied by lower division transferred courses, take any GE Area C3 Arts and Humanities Synthesis course , or Option Electives (3) or Lower Division Coursework Option Required (3) if EWS 4430 (C3) or EWS 4500 (C3) or EWS 3010 (C3) was taken.

Roadmap Notes

Any 3 units of GE Area B4: Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning is an acceptable substitution for MAT 1940 Mathematical Concepts for Elementary School Teachers if the equivalent course of MAT 1940 was not taken at the previous institution and MAT 1940 could not be taken within 60 units at CPP.

Any 3 units of GE Area C2: Literature, Modern Languages, Philosophy and Civilization is an acceptable substitution for HST 1101 World Civilizations to 1500 if the equivalent course of HST 1101 was not taken at the previous institution and HST 1101 could not be taken within 60 units at CPP.

Any 3 units of GE Area C2: Literature, Modern Languages, Philosophy and Civilization or GE Area C1: Visual and Performing Arts is an acceptable substitution for HST 1102 World Civilizations from 1500 if the equivalent course of HST 1102 was not taken at the previous institution and HST 1102 could not be taken within 60 units at CPP.
