Mild/Moderate Disabilities

Teachers who already possess a Multiple or Single Subject Credential may earn a Preliminary Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe) by following the program admissions requirements and procedures found at http://www.csupomona.edu/~cso/programs/education_specialist.shtml. To add a Preliminary Mild/Moderate Credential, candidates must successfully complete: 24 units
To add a Preliminary Moderate/Severe Credential, candidates must successfully complete: 28 units
Adding Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Credential
Teachers who already possess an Education Specialist Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe and wish to add Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe should contact the Credential Services Office for complete program modification requirements.
Concurrent Credentials
The Multiple and Single Subject Credential programs are designed to facilitate concurrently earning Education Specialist Credential. Interested students should contact the Credential Services Office for consultation and complete courses requirements.
