BIO 4830L - Ornithology Laboratory (2) Identification of North American birds, while developing an understanding of the techniques used in the scientific study of birds in the field. Identification skills will be cultivated through the use of an instructional collection of bird specimens, and training in the identification of birds in the field based on visual observations and recognition of songs.
