Introduction to Mechatronic Engineering, Dynamic Models and Analogies, Component Interconnection and System Integration, Performance Specification and Analysis, Role of sensors, transducers and actuators in a mechatronic system, mechatronics design, Case Studies in Mechatronics including micro-electromechanical systems, autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles, quantum engineering, pneumatic and hydraulic systems for automation, solar energy and fuel cell systems for vehicles.

Prerequisite(s): MAT 1310 , ETE 3211 , ETE 3211L , and ETM 2111 .
