MU 3202 - Music Theory: Classical II (3) Materials and methods of composition and analysis for Western music, focusing mainly on chromatic materials. Typical chromatic patterns (schemata) and enharmonic modulations. Transformation theory. Study of forms, including lied, and sonata forms. Applications to film, television, and video game music.
