BIO 5370 - Advanced Virology (3) In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of virology. The fundamentals of virology by detailing the seven classes of viruses with emphasis on animal viruses of medical importance. For each class of viruses, several viruses will be covered in detail, including the virus replication cycle, virus structure, transmission, host response to viral infection, and epidemiology.
