STA 1300 - Biostatistics (3) Basic definitions, Sampling methods, Graphical display and descriptive statistics. Probability concepts, Normal distribution. Estimation, hypothesis testing, t-tests, goodness of fit, analysis of variance, regression and correlation, and nonparametric procedures. Applications in biological, agricultural, and other applied science. Use of computer packages for applied problems.
