BIO 4380L - Bioinformatics Laboratory (2)


Practice with methods used in modern bioinformatics for the manipulation and analysis of large scale molecular data sets using computer based methods. Some of the topics covered include, pairwise and multiple sequence alignment, pattern searching in biological databases, and high throughput data analysis and manipulation. This is a hands-on course focused on developing practical bioinformatics skills.

Prerequisite(s): BIO 303, BIO 2400 , CHM 328, or CHM 3280 .
Corequisite(s): BIO 4380 .
