BIO 4640 - Medical Virology (1) Focus on viruses that infect humans and cause serious disease with specific emphasis on clinical syndromes, pathogenesis mechanisms of virus infection and virus-cell interactions, at cellular and molecular level. The prevention of viral infection, diagnosis of viral infections and patient management. Classes include lectures as well as reading and discussion of primary papers related to course contents.
