Foundation for understanding geomorphology, sediment transport and erosion in the river environment. Sediment properties; resistance to flow; incipient motion and bedforms; geomorphology; sediment transport; river stability; and river restoration. Conceptual design techniques will be introduces about natural and urban runoff.

Prerequisite(s): CE 332 or CE 3211; and BSCE, BSCET, BSCEM, or MSCE Major.
