CE 4261 - Air Quality Engineering (3) Basic concepts in physics and chemistry of the atmosphere. Production, transformation, transport, and removal of air pollutants. The problems of photochemical smog, the greenhouse effect and climate change, stratospheric ozone, acid rain, and visibility. Analytical techniques for gases and particles. Numerical simulation of air pollution. Health and environmental effects of air pollution.
