AVS 2101L - Fundamentals of Animal Nutrition Laboratory (1)


A comprehensive and applied introduction to animal nutrition with an emphasis on nutrients, digestive physiology, digestion, feed ingredient characteristics, feed identification, and ration formulation. Includes practical activities focused on developing the understanding necessary to balance appropriate diets.

Prerequisite(s): CHM 121 or CHM 1210 ; CHM 121L or CHM 1210L ; and MAT 105, MAT 1050 , or MAT 1052 .
