ANT 3700 - Visual Anthropology (2)


Visual Anthropology is the field that is concerned with the documentation of culture, social institutions, and everyday human behavior through film. The use of video, audio, internet, and other media in anthropological research, in the communication of ideas and information to the public, and as repositories of knowledge. Ethnographic and other documentary approaches in multi-media. 2 hours lecture/discussion.
