BIO 4430 - Tissue Culture and Its Application (2) Principles of animal cell culture in laboratory setting and the applications of animal tissue culture to studies in cell biology and biotechnology. Topics include tissue culture basics; tissue culture lab setting, equipment and safety; tissue culture media and supplements; biology of cultured cells; subculture and cell lines; cloning and selection; cell characterization; contamination management.
