HST 3300 - Theory and Practice of History (3)

The theory and practice of historical research and writing in preparation for senior thesis/project. Historiographic and theoretical trends in the field, with emphasis on recent schools of historical thought. Students will propose a senior thesis topic and complete an annotated bibliography, a preliminary outline, and a historiographic essay on the topic.

Prerequisite(s): HST 1100 or Art History major or minor, and completion of GE Area A.
