CE 5520 - Prestressed Concrete Design (3) Design of prestressed concrete structures. Methods of pre-stressing. Pretensioning and post-tensioning techniques. Properties of concrete and prestressing steels. Design for flexure, shear, camber and deflections. Design considerations on anchorage/bonding of cables/wire and prestress losses.
