ECS 2350 - Introduction to Childhood Curriculum (3) This course introduces the early childhood curriculum planning cycle. Students will evaluate theoretical approaches and begin to create curriculum for children birth-age 12. The role of the classroom environment, play, and education standards in curriculum will be addressed. Additionally, students will begin to learn about the role of culturally and linguistically affirming, anti-racist pedagogy in supporting all children. Prerequisite: ECS 1000 with a grade of C or better; co or prerequisite ECS 2010/2010A.
