AST 3420 - Life, the Universe, and Everything (3) An examination of the origins of life in the universe based on astronomy, cosmology, biology, and planetary science. Topics may include the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI), the history of life in our solar system, and the origins of the chemical elements through Big Bang nucleosynthesis and galactic recycling plants.
