ME 301 - Thermodynamics I (4) Thermodynamic properties and processes; equations of state; tables and charts of thermodynamic properties; work and heat, the first law of thermodynamics and first law properties; the second law of thermodynamics and entropy; carnot cycle, simple Brayton cycle
Prerequisite(s): CE, ME, or MFE major, and C– or better in ME 214 . Component(s): 4 lectures/problem-solving. Grading: The course will be graded based on homework assignments, midterm and final exams. When Offered: FALL, WINTER and SPRING each year.
