EWS 403 - Native American Contemporary Issues (4) A critical examination of Native American ethnic, cultural, and linguistic groups in the U.S. By synthesizing interdisciplinary perspectives from the social sciences and humanities, selected issues in education, law, community health issues, religious freedom, cultural expression, sovereignty and self-determination will be examined. Course fulfills GE Interdisciplinary Synthesis C4 or D4.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of courses in Areas A, C1 and 3, and Area D1, 2, and 3. Component(s): 2 two-hour lecture/discussion.
