EDU 5334 - Multi-Tiered Literacy Assessment and Intervention (3) Diagnosing and remediating reading difficulties within multi-tiered systems of instruction using evidence-based research, strategies, and programs. Evidence-based ELA instruction for students with disabilities. Methods of non-biased assessment, data collection, and progress monitoring in both reading and ELA. Includes service learning and/or field experience.
Prerequisite(s): Admitted to ED SPEC Cred Prog; C or better in (EDS 403, EDU 5302 , EDU 5310 or EDU 5312 ); EDU 5010 or TED 406; EDU 5020 or TED 407 and EDU 5100 or TED 433. Component(s): Seminar Grading Basis: Graded Only Repeat for Credit: May be taken only once
