EDU 5310 - Characteristics of and Instructional Strategies for Students with Mild/Moderate Disabilities (3) Causes and characteristics of mild/moderate disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders and twice-exceptional students. Current research and educational practices. Use of data-based decision-making in educational programming. Current issues and trends. Introduction to assistive technology for students with disabilities. Includes field experience.
