In addition to the required courses of 1^st and 2^nd year, to enter the 3^rd year of the program, students must hold an in-major GPA of 2.0 or greater.
Portfolio Review: In addition to the required courses of 1st and 2nd year, to enter the 3rd year of the program, students must pass a Portfolio Review.
Professional Practice Requirement: Prior to graduation, all students are required to register for NCARB IDP and fulfill 450 hours of internship through NCARB. For more information, please see the department website.

The CSU requires all students complete coursework in US History, US Government, and California and local government. University Writing Requirement (UWR): 3 units

Students must complete 3 units of writing-intensive coursework with a grade of C or higher. Students are eligible to take their UWR when they have completed 60 semester units.
