The College of Business Administration (CBA) at Cal Poly Pomona delivers a distinctive, polytechnic business education that integrates experiential learning, data-informed decision-making, and ethical leadership to prepare students to lead in a rapidly evolving global economy.

Signature programming includes the Student Innovation Idea Lab (iLab), which supports entrepreneurial ventures through workshops, startup funding competitions, and mentorship. Students from all majors engage in cross-functional teams to develop business models, prototypes, and market-ready products. The Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing provides opportunities to work with real clients on market analytics, branding, and consumer behavior campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, and HubSpot.

CBA also houses the Singelyn Graduate School of Business, which offers MBA and MS programs with a strong emphasis on responsible leadership, DEI, and digital fluency. Graduate students participate in case competitions, international consulting projects, and executive mentorships, all designed to elevate workplace readiness.

Instruction is enhanced by strong ties to regional employers, including Amazon, City of Hope, Northrop Grumman, and Kaiser Permanente. Business students engage in internships and projects through the Center for Community Engagement, which coordinates placements in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors.

Graduates of the College of Business Administration are equipped with a comprehensive toolkit that includes financial acumen, strategic thinking, ethical reasoning, and collaborative leadership. They are adept in business technologies, data analysis, project management, and cross-cultural communication. Whether entering private industry, public service, or launching new ventures, CBA students graduate prepared to lead with confidence and integrity.
