ECS 4210 - STEAM: An Integrated Approach to Learning (3) Engagement in multidisciplinary science and engineering practices to learn how to investigate STEAM in infant to third-grade classrooms. Through inquiry and discovery learning, use logic and explanations based on evidence as ways of knowing to develop a deeper understanding of the world through scientific practices. Exploration of effective practices for integrating educational technologies, arts, and mathematics in the classroom. This progressive construction of knowledge approach satisfies content based on the California State learning foundations, frameworks, and standards.
Prerequisite(s): C or better in ECS 3910 . Grading Basis: Graded Only Repeat for Credit: May be taken only once When Offered: Fall, Spring Course Category: Major Elective Course
