AVS 3305 - Animal Genetics (3) An introductory course dealing with the basic genetics of all species of livestock and common companion animals. Emphasis will be placed on inherited abnormalities, traits of economic importance, conventional methods of dealing with these traits, and technologies of the future.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 1150 or BIO 1210 , BIO 1150L or BIO 1210L , and AVS major. Grading Basis: Graded Only Repeat for Credit: May be taken only once Course Category: Major Required Course
