Examining costume design through the lens of art history, dress and fashion history and the social psychology of dress. Contemporary styles and their application to theatrical design, as well as the creative process, sketching and rendering for costumes, fabric selection, and accessories.

Prerequisite(s): TH 132L or TH 1320L; TH 231A or TH 2310; and TH 2280.
Corequisite(s): TH 381 or TH 3810.
