Examining costume design through the lens of art history, dress and fashion history and the social psychology of dress. Contemporary styles and their application to theatrical design, as well as the creative process, sketching and rendering for costumes, fabric selection, and accessories.

Prerequisite(s): TH 132 or TH 1320; TH 231 or TH 2310; and TH 2280.
