The Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Society Minor provides students engaged in developing and applying AI technologies with the humanistic and liberal arts perspective that will allow them to reflect critically on the ethical and social consequences of these technologies. This broadening of perspective on AI technologies is needed to prepare students to be sensitive to these consequences and to be participants in shaping the evolving norms, laws, and institutions surrounding AI.
