Fashion Merchandising Minor: 27 units

This interdisciplinary minor is designed for students who seek careers in the fashion industry. The minor provides students with a background in both fashion and business to better prepare them to seek employment in manufacturing or retailing. The minor in Fashion Merchandising is administered jointly by the Department of International Business and Marketing and the College of Agriculture.
The attainment of a minor in Fashion Merchandising is accomplished by appropriate selection, timely scheduling and satisfactory completion of specifically designated courses and electives totaling a minimum of 27 semester units as outlined below:

Minor Electives: 9 units
Any combination of courses listed below will satisfy the required 9 units. Emphases are listed to provide guidance for helping students to choose courses of interest that best fit your career goals, but there is no requirement for choosing a specific emphasis for fulfilling these units. It is strongly recommended to complete the 9 units from the same emphasis. Emphasis A: Retail Buying, Marketing and Management

Emphasis C: Fashion Production
