CE 431/431L - Water Treatment Engineering/Laboratory (3/1) Study of water policies, drinking water standards, and unit processes used in a conventional water treatment system. Design of unit processes like coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection. Comprehensive water treatment plant design project. Product fee required.
Prerequisite(s): CE 332/332L , CHM 122 /CHM 122L , and BSCE or MSCE major. Corequisite(s): CE 431L/431. Component(s): 3 lectures/problem-solving. 1 three-hour laboratory.
