BIO 123/123L - Foundations of Biology: Biodiversity (3/2) Biodiversity is examined at molecular, cellular, organismal and ecological levels with an emphasis on phylogenetic relationships. Laboratory provides exposure to basic laboratory and field techniques and introduces major groups of living organisms, habitats in which they reside and factors affecting their ecology and evolution. The third of three foundation courses required of all majors offered by the Biological Sciences Department.
