ARO 3031L - Model Based Systems Engineering and Knowledge Modeling (1)


Introduction to model-based systems engineering using a three-dimensional orthogonal (3DO) tensor framework. Knowledge modeling concepts including ontologies, semantic triples, and the Ontology Web Language (OWL). Application of the 3DO framework to operational, functional, and physical architectures for aerospace systems and program management. Emphasis on how knowledge modeling improves requirements definition, communication, and digital engineering integration.

Prerequisite(s): ARO 2011L.
