AVS 2010 - Medical Terminology (2) Introduction to medical terminology with specific application for veterinary science. Medical terminology is a universal language used in all aspects of the medical/health/research community. Designed to familiarize the student in such language by providing a basic understanding of word roots, prefixes, suffixes and abbreviations used in the field, preparing them for situations in which they will be communicating with others in the medical/veterinary field.
