The study, rehearsal, and presentation of classic and contemporary Black American vocal and instrumental repertoire, presented via culturally specific performance practices for the campus and extended community.

Prerequisite(s):

Enrollment by audition. Must have prior experience on a relevant instrument.
Grading Basis: Graded Only
Repeat for Credit: May be taken multiple times
Minimum - Maximum Units: Total credit limited to 9 units, with a maximum of 1 unit per semester.
