KIN 4330AS - Adapted Physical Education Motor Assessment Service-Learning Activity (1)


Application of principles of motor assessment within Adapted Physical Education (APE) and related settings through a service-learning framework. Engagement in hands-on experiences working with individuals of varying ages and disabilities. Practices include roles as lead teachers at the Motor Development Clinic, designing and implementing individualized movement programs, conducting motor assessments, and collaborating with professionals in the APE field. Through observation, team teaching, and reflective practice, connect theory to real-world application, developing skills in assessment, instruction, and inclusive pedagogy.

Corequisite(s): KIN 4330.
Prerequisite(s): KIN 3460 and KIN 3460AS.

 
Pre or Corequisite(s): Current immunization record to enable visits to schools and a live scan posted to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website to enable visits to schools.
