The basic and applied physiology of the exercising horse. Discussion of muscular respiratory, cardiovascular, nutritional, and osmoregulatory physiology. Includes gait analysis, lameness and pharmacology.

Prerequisite(s):  AVS 350 or AVS 3350 ; and AVS 350L or AVS 3350L .
