ARC 4780 - Indigenous Architecture (3) Survey and in-depth case studies of architectural forms produced by non literate and traditional societies around the world. Emphasis given to social, cultural and cosmological factors contributing to the variety of built forms, responses of form to climate and natural conditions, materials and methods of construction, and aesthetic expression.
