ENG 2200 - Introduction to English Linguistics (3) [GE 3B]

The study of English as a science and a cultural phenomenon. Exploration of fundamental properties of English and of ways in which English differs from other languages. Topics include the sounds, word formation and meaning, syntax, history, and dialects of English.
