ACC 4820W - Accounting Ethics (3)


Importance of ethics in accounting practice; frameworks for ethical decision making; professional codes of ethics in accounting; ethical use of Artificial Intelligence technology; and current and classic ethics cases. Assignments include written pieces required in the profession of accounting, such as memos, emails, disclosures, and research papers. Writing-Intensive courses must be passed with a C or higher to count towards the University’s 3-unit Writing Requirement.

Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior standing, and C or better in ACC 3110 .
Grading Basis: Graded Only
Repeat for Credit: May be taken only once
