Pathophysiology of selected medical problems with specific attention to nutritional needs and treatment as part of evidenced based practice and nutritional/medical care. Clinical nutrition applications in acute and chronic disease. Nutritional care process, medical terminology, charting and documentation, patient simulations and healthcare laboratory experiments, and case studies. 1 three-hour laboratory.
