KIN 4300W - Philosophical and Ethical Issues in Health and Human Movement (3)


Utilization of philosophical perspectives to examine ethical issues relevant to health and human movement. Current topics and issues related to physical activity, sport, the body, and health will be examined. A critical examination of ethical issues as they relate to inequity and implicit biases is embedded within the culture of health and human movement. Writing-Intensive courses must be passed with a C or higher to count towards the University’s 3-unit Writing Requirement.

Prerequisite(s): KHP major and junior or senior standing.
Grading Basis: Graded Only
