CS 1260 - Python for Beginners (3) Basic concepts of computer software and programming. Numbers, strings, and basic I/O. Expressions, control structures, lists, tuples, and functions. File I/O and introduction to exception handling. Introduction to object-oriented programming. Problem-solving techniques. Cannot be used for CS elective credit.
Prerequisite(s): C or better in MAT 1050 and MAT 1060 ; C or better in MAT 1052 and MAT 1060; C or better in MAT 1140 , MAT 1150 , or MAT 2140 ; or consent of instructor. Grading Basis: Graded Only Repeat for Credit: May be taken only once When Offered: Fall, Spring Course Category: Service Course
