GEO 3030 - Climatology (3) [GE 5D]


Introduction to the fundamental concepts and theories in climatology. Methods of inquiry, including qualitative, quantitative, and computer based modeling and simulation methods. Explore climate variation through time and space and the reciprocal impact of climate and society. 3 hours lecture/problem-solving.

Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior standing; and completion of GE Areas 1 and 2, or Areas A and B4 are recommended.
