Laboratory component for learning about the geography of organisms, biotic communities and ecosystems. Investigation of ecosystem types, their components, locations, and geographic scope. Particular emphasis on spatial and temporal principles governing the geographic patterns of current and past terrestrial plant and animal species and communities. 3 hours laboratory.
