PHY 3600 - Mathematical Methods of Physics I (3)


Mathematical techniques and concepts for advanced study of physics. Linear algebra, vector analysis, Fourier series and transforms, orthogonal functions, and partial differential equations.

Corequisite(s): PHY 3600A .
Prerequisite(s): C- or better in MAT 216 or MAT 2250  (MAT 2250 can be concurrent).
Pre or Corequisite(s):  PHY 2540 and MAT 2250.
