EDU 5200 - Secondary Reading and Writing in the Content Areas (3)

For secondary level teachers from all content areas. Examination of the roles that reading and writing play in learning. Examine the cognitive and socio-cultural characteristics shared by the reading and writing processes. The course includes 20 hours of fieldwork related to course content.

Prerequisite(s): Junior standing, senior standing, or admitted into Single Subject Credential.
Grading Basis: Graded Only
Repeat for Credit: May be taken multiple times
Minimum - Maximum Units: Total credit limited to 6 units, with a maximum of 3 units per semester.
