EDU 5205 - Secondary Curriculum and Methods (3)

Principles and methodology of teaching in a content area in the secondary schools including instructional design, material selection, student assessment, and the development of state-adopted academic content standard based lesson plans. May include 10 hours of fieldwork.

Prerequisite(s): Admitted into Single Subject Credential; EDU 5010 or TED 406; and EDU 5020, or TED 405 and TED 407.
Grading Basis: Graded Only
Repeat for Credit: May be taken multiple times
Minimum - Maximum Units: Total credit limited to 6 units, with a maximum of 3 units per semester.
