AMM 4630W - Fashion Research Project (1) Introduction to research methods commonly used in scientific inquiry to explore topics in textiles, fashion product design, business strategies in fashion, and fashion consumer behavior. Students will learn the conceptual foundations of research, including research design, literature reviews, measurement techniques, sampling methods, and data collection and management. Emphasis will be placed on analyzing data and developing written summaries of research findings, preparing students to conduct meaningful investigations in the field of fashion and textiles. Writing-Intensive courses must be passed with a C or higher to count towards the University’s 3-unit Writing Requirement.
Corequisite(s): AMM 4630AW. Prerequisite(s): Senior standing, and STA 1200 or STA 1202 . Grading Basis: Graded Only Repeat for Credit: May be taken only once When Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter Course Category: Major Required Course
