An examination of central questions in moral theory from the early twentieth century to the present. Disputes regard the metaphysical, epistemological, and psychological properties of moral claims and attitudes. Developments in contemporary consequentialist, Kantian, feminist, intuitionist, contract, and virtue ethical theories.
